Only because people are too stupid to know what the word “radical” actually means. It means the roughly the same as “fundamentalist”, a person who gets back to the roots and strips away all the fluff.
A radical muslim is one who has studied and understands the demands of his faith and “god”.
The article should be teaching the meaning of “radical” instead of trying to encourage the ignorance of the masses.
