Yesterday, Rush exposed Trump’s secret, private side.
Rush began this week being very critical of Donald Trump for bashing Cruz and making remarks that ended up encouraging the Left to go after Scalia.
Then yesterday Limbaugh revealed a side of Donald Trump that precious few here in the FR ever had a chance to see. Donald Trump talked with Limbaugh from time-to-time for years.
Conclusion: Rush said that he frquently keeps hearing the same Trump he had heard all along. I am under the impression that Limbaugh’s memory of those casual conversations is vague, but he emphasized in particular that Trump was “very critical of Obama.”
What that means is that Trump is not quite as ‘Johnny-Come-Lately’ as one might believe. If he is a ‘closet leftist’, then Trump is very clever indeed and had ‘greased’ his ‘snake-oil schemes’ by ‘planting lies’ every time he met Rush.
The conspiracy theories against Trump keep getting harder to believe.
Best I can tell, Trump’s patriotism is genuine.
That s part of the minimum qualifications for the office.

Rush lives in Palm Beach, FL. As does Trump most weekends. In fact, Trump converted his private residence in Palm Beach into the prestigious Mar-a-Lago Club, which by their own admission, “is the epicenter of the social scene in Palm Beach, providing unparalleled service and entertainment and reliving the rich history of the great Marjorie Merriweather Post Estate.”
Rush usually is not tainted, but I cannot imagine him being super critical of the owner of what could be the club at the center of his social circle.
Trump very may well be what he claims, but my point is why take the chance when we have solid candidates which do not have the negatives and unknowns associated with Trump? Why take the chance when we have someone with a record to stand on?
I repeat my prediction that absent an alien abduction Donald J. Trump is the next President of the United States.
