I was listening to the debate and its clear to me that the party is divided into 2 camps.
America first vs Internationalists.
Trump, Cruz, Paul and Carson are in the America First group, the rest are not.
You are correct.
And one more major distinction:
The others standard answer for everything is more government, more spending.
Example #1: Security. They want more NSA, more spying, more, more more.
When in fact every single mass killing in the US had ample warning, but government incompetence missed the clues.
Odd isn't it that the government has a propaganda piece almost every day about how the islamists are radicalizing our kids using the Internet.
Yet we now find that the government forbids its agents from reading public information posted by people who later attacked US citizens.
Not private personal confidential communications, but messages posted on public facilities, such as facebook, twitter, etc.
That is incompetence and you do not get better results from giving more money to incompetent people. Usually the results are worse because more money gives them the power to make bigger and worse mistakes.
