Incorrect. They were sent home only hours after 9/11, while the flight suspension was very much in effect. And, according to a lengthy special on Fox News, a gang of Israelis at the same time were rounded up and sent back. Had to do with spying. Tony Snow hosted some of it. I have the transcript of that special on file somewhere. It is supposed to still be available on the internet.

I don’t really have a “position” on the matter. It is just an event that happened, and it was never considered as top secret.
So there are two positions...and unless there is conclusive intel, one cannot say it is a fact.
I have caught Fox News in many, many errors, so they are no more reputable than any other.

Now, this is strange. I googled, Snopes came up first, and that site said it was not true. All the other sites, British newspapers, etc. said it happened. I have heard about it frequently since then.
