He probably is right. Most Republican politicians (actually, nearly all) are just liberals masquerading as conservatives. They may say conservative things, but their actions are always liberal.

Unfortunately, this tactic seems to work for them. The base keeps electing these charlatans cycle after cycle.

This just goes to show how corrupt the GOP has become. An ‘outsider’ might win and they are in a full blown panic. Makes me all the more curious as to what they are so terrified of.
