UPDATE: Various sites are reporting that Disneyland has begun installing metal detectors at the Anaheim parks as well. Universal Studios Hollywood will also install metal detectors, according to the Orange County Register.
The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim made a few changes to its rules overnight Thursday, Dec. 17, according to fan site Dateline Disneyland.
Two new rules were updated on the Disneyland park rules website: guests over the age of 14 will not be allowed to wear costumes and toy guns are now prohibited from the resort.

“POP” tarts? That sounds purty dang dangerous. Didn’t some dumbasses ban pictures of ACTUAL guns? Don’t want the kiddies to be skurred.

If you watch the movies, more people get killed from lightsabers than from guns.

When I was a kid—a long time ago, there was a gun store in Frontierland where they had barrels of black powder long guns (likely single-barrel shotguns) for sale. I could never get my parents to get me one.

Have you seen the Target commercial with Storm Troopers? Their holsters are empty. How are they supposed to subdue the rebels?

Boycott all Disney products, parks and movies due to their mistreatment of workers. Okay, but what about the mistreatment of park attendees? They sell themselves as the happiest place on Earth, and it is for their corporate bank account. It costs $18 just to park, a family of four pay $384 to $396 for a one day one park entry, want a park hopper option for both parks? add $224, so before anything else a family of four drops $638.
Once you get your happy clan into the happy place you quickly discover that you can hardly move let alone get on more than a handful of rides because the corporation is so greedy that they pack the park so full that it's nigh impossible for the suckers to see more than a slim portion for their investment, and then of course you run into the happy happy inflated food and beverages.
There are many good reasons to boycott today's Disneyland and I haven't even started on their current corporate policies.
Not long ago on another thread about Disneyland I made some comments and another Freeper stated something like no one is forced to go to Disneyland. I asked in response if he had children.

Honestly I don’t really hold this move against them that much because they know they are likely on ISIS’s target list and they do provide armed security on site so people won’t be left defenseless like usually happens in gun free zones.

What about the toy buccaneer guns at the Pirates of the Caribbean? And swords, the favorite toy of jihadists.

Several years ago we were eating at the Crossroads in the downtown Disney district dining area. The House of Blues bar was above the restaurant and even then they were patting down all patrons before they entered the bar.

there are lots of liberals intimidated by the size of one pennis that’s the reason they want to ban all guns except for the privileged few.

You could easily disguise a sawed-off shotgun or persuader to look like a Nerf Gun or Super Soaker.
