They never do though. The only people I know who actually left when GWB was elected only stayed in Mexico 2-3 years. The wife told me “it wasn’t what we expected”. No shite.

Yeah, all the gay, transqueers or whatever they’re called, and Ohole appointees will leave. Despite the article’s tone, this actually a good thing..

The Obama appointees speak. This might be the easiest and best way to be rid of them.

Thanks for the feedback guys. This is my first time posting an article here, I normally sit back and lurk but when I ran across this article I had to know what Freepers two cents on this was. Personally I find this gals article to be largely rubbish, after 8 years of Obama and his incompetent bumbling ways, further reductions in force structure, and obsession with social issues vis-a-vis the military one would think the top brass would be happy with anybody that isn’t Obama.

Buh bye.

“By 2016 I will have my 20 years in and can get out of here,” one military official said, referring to the amount of time a service member needs to collect retirement pay.”

This is the group that needed to spend $1,000,000,000,000 to kill 30,000 talibans, or $33,333,333 - thirty-three MILLION per taliban.

Gentlemen, we appreciate your service. Enjoy your retirement, but - You’re fired!

Making such a decision in private, then following through on it if necessary, is perfectly fine and honorable.

Making a public show of declaring it is inappropriate politicization of the military.

The URL is n my post is a 404 now! Wow! Quick scrubbing faster than going after terrorists on the Internet!

I am glad that the tranny bitches in # 297 would quit. I doubt it very much, though.

A GOP president should bring back all the *retired* great generals back on his first day in office!

Ah, the Perfumed Princes little place house might get torn down, what a crying shame. If any of these do not quit if I were Trump and won I would wave bye to all of them anyway.

Good. America doesn’t need a bunch of whiny babies leading the military.

I don’t think that I take this article very seriously. For one, the Pentagon is full of political military. Promotion is, often, a political event in this administrations tenure. Obama has fired many of the real soldiers that were left.

A mass exodus of politicians in uniform will be a good boost for real soldiers to move up into higher command ranks.

We’d lose a buncha chair force generals who have never been in a war we’ve fought to win?

I’m not seeing the downside here.

Not a single officer named. Completely unverifiable.

From the article:

Here, officers are privately contemplating

some said

This Daily Beast correspondent has heard such sentiments from at least a dozen commanders in the past few months.

Such conversations can also be heard at common areas—in cafeteria lines and around lunch tables.

in the course of conversation, plots of a different kind emerge

These commanders are too focused on recovering from the last war to hear politicans talk about the prospect of a future one.

Plu-ease!

Obama had hundreds of our best and brightest fired. Obama promotes gays in the military. It seems to me that all that’s left are queers and losers, and if they want to leave, then that’s a good thing.
