There has been a sharp rise in concern over terrorism, with few Americans believing that the government can stop lone-wolf attacks (22-77 percent) and not many more can stop a large scale attack (43-56 percent). A new Gallup poll shows that terrorism has become the number one issue on voters’ minds (16% rank terrorism as the number one issue, 13% say government, and 9% say the economy).
President Obama keeps pushing for more gun control as the solution to the threat of terrorism. . . .

It won’t matter. Concealed or not, too many in this country will wait around for someone else to take care of the problems. We’ve become too civilized to deal with terrorists and a rogue government.
The voters can see it coming.

What other choice do we have? Our government under Obama sure as hell isn’t going to protect us.
Terrorists do a scintilla of the damage our government does. The most damage terrorist can do is kill a few hundred people each year, compare that to 50,000 killed in traffic accidents each year, half by drunk drivers.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not unconcerned by terrorism and I’m not being flippant. I am just saying crank the number. Terrorists kill/hurt extremely few people in the US each year. As a source of death and injury, they don’t even rank. So this “fear of terrorism” is just an unreasonable public stoked by an inflamed media.
I fear my own government far more than I fear terrorists. Far more. My government is the long term tyrant I fear, not a handful of idiot Muslims looking to secure their delusions for 72 virgins.
Trump said so first.
