trust me, not everybody should be armed. there are deeply psychotic individuals out there that should never have access to a firearm.

True. Anyone CAN buy a gun. Even if it illegal to do so.
True. I believe anyone who self-identifies as liberal or democrat ought to be immediately disqualified from firearms ownership. At the very least such individuals should be subject to a more thorough screening. We know liberals are somewhat delusional. They have to be. You cannot ascribe to the liberal viewpoint/agenda without deluding yourself about the real state of the world. The fact that so many of them cannot or will not see it just makes them that much more dangerous.
Seriously, haven't most of these "mass shootings" been perpetrated by people who identify as lib/dem? Also were not many of them on (or formerly on) psycho-active drugs being treated for something or other?

The list she gave was reasonable. Convicted felons, illegal aliens, "mentally defective". Someone ruled mentally defective would not be able to enter in to a legal contract, so also not owning a gun seems appropriate.
I might have issue with dishonorable discharge in all cases. Any offenses that are on par with civillian felonies, yes. But others, maybe not.

The government wants to decide who is mentally ill and then take away their guns.

I agree with your points. People who aren’t citizens or are incapable of functioning in society cannot/should not have or use our rights, IMHO. I just am not sure how I feel about those who have gone to jail for something stupid like drugs. Does that really mean that they shouldn’t be able to defend themselves? Should the government have that authority to prevent someone from exercising that right? That’s what really irks me. People who go beyond such minor offenses probably shouldn’t be out on the streets, anyways. Plus, the government being able to prevent the free exercise of rights also kind of angers me.
Then they should be locked up. If they are a danger to themselves or society, they shouldn’t be allowed to live in society with the rest of us. It’s sad, but those type of people don’t even need a gun to harm a ton of people.
Just wait'll they start classifying Conservatives as mentally defective. I'm sure you'' change your tune. The "mentally defective" argument is nothing more than a BS slippery slope. There should be NO "mentally defective" allowance to block a gun sale.
Oh, but there has been a call for that ongoing for some time now. The Assault Automobile is AKA the SUV. Sort of akin to the Assault Weapon AKA the semi-automatic rifle that looks scary. The SUV as you well know is often responsible for deaths on the highway all by themselves, i.e. no known driver of said SUV.
So you are good with Schizophrenics and people with multiple personalities having guns? What about mentally handicapped and at an emotional age of 5-6 years old but an adult by age?
Classifying conservatives as mentally defective would kill the socialist golden goose since it would move them from giver to taker by killing their ability to maintain a job.
I had to endure the myth that terrorists can go to a gun show and purchase a gun, without a background check.

That’s because facts and reality aren’t on their side.
At this point the gun grabbers should know that the “Gun show Loophole” is a lie - but they don’t care about propagating it because it further their agenda.
