I’m not sure I understand your comment.

Does it mean if you’re not a die hard DT supporter, life is bitter and pointless?

If DT becomes the GOP nominee, of course I will support him.

But in the meantime, there are plenty of other choices.

There is truth to what you say. There is a cult of personality growing around DT. No matter how outrageous, crude, vulgar, and crass his comments are, his followers find it somehow endearing.

Oh. I see. If you don’t support DT, you’re a sissy.

We should turn blind eye to DT’s past political contributions to the Democrats including the Clintons.

We should turn blind eye to his past policy positions on issues such as single payer health insurance.

Trump is all about Trump. Never a movement conservative.

Sorry if you think I’m a sissy because of my reservations about DT.

Thanks for that clarification. However to quote our Esteemed Founder, "there is only Trump or Cruz, all the others are amnesty pimps" and he's right.

I support both Cruz AND Trump and I would be happy voting for either one of them.

Well...for the record...I started the year supporting Scott Walker. After he withdrew, I’ve been leaning towards Cruz and would vote for him if the election were held today.

I would vote for Satan over HRC, so DT doesn’t need to worry about not having my vote in the general election.

Well, here companies donate to the powers that be, if they want anything done. My late husband was in business for years and heard all about it. We were too small for politicians to bother with. Just find lists of donors to politicians all over this country and many on those lists donate to politicians of both parties. It would be even worse in big cities. Go Trump.

Look. I live in L.A. We are one-party Democrat here, so I know what that means. It is very similar to NYC in that regard. It is not unusual for Republican businessmen to make political donations to LOCAL Dem politicians, especially developers in order to grease the skids to get a project approved. But that does not mean you HAVE to write checks to the likes of Barbara Boxer, or DiFi to get a building built. There was no need to for DT to write checks to the Clintons....NO GOOD REASON FOR IT WHATSOEVER IMHO.

To paraphrase Sir Winston Churchill, “if Hillary Rotten Criminal announced that she intended to invade Hell, I would at least say a few kind words about the Devil in the House of Commons.”

Not necessarily, now that Trump is taking on the Hildabeast, he can always say "it's nothing personal, Hell I made donations to the Clintons back in the day, and they gladly accepted my money!"

I'd enjoy watching Hiliarly squirm around that statement in a future debate.

DT is extraordinarily crude and crass in addition to being vain and egotistical.

Not really. He makes statements specifically designed to get him free air time. Only those ignorant of this technique really think Trump has these characteristics. He also uses it to put his opponents on the defensive...to take them out of their game...to get them focused on anything else but winning. So HE can concentrate on winning. It's working.

He also gives larges sums to the Democrats including the Clintons.

Oh please..he's given exclusively to Republicans and conservatives causes over the last few years. Lifetimes his political contributions are about evenly split. Something one would expect from a wealthy businessman who wants to keep government out of his hair as much as possible.

I don’t know why he is constantly given a pass on his infantile behavior.

Lol...who is giving him a pass? It's not infantile, spur of the moment or anything else but deliberate py ops techniques . A lifetime of negotiation skills at work as he works to achieve a goal.

Once you learn this you'll be able to let go of your Trump hatred and appreciate the beauty of what he's doing.

DT at one point was apparently close to the Clintons. I believe the Clintons showed up to his latest wedding to his latest trophy wife. DT used to say very nice things about HRC.

I’m sorry I don’t appreciate the beauty of DT’s foul mouth. Maybe one day I will learn to appreciate it. But I doubt it. I don’t like obnoxiousness. I don’t like foul language. Sorry, I’m not into this reality show which I find on par with the Kardashians or the Jersey Shore. But like I said before, I will hold my nose and vote for DT should he become the GOP nominee. The alternatives are worse.

It’s all politics. Don’t read so much into it.

“And you hate conservatives who see Trump for the patriotic media-made celebrity he is.”

Oh, I do? If you’re referring to “The Apprentice”, I’ve never seen it or given it any consideration as I despise reality shows.

I’ve admired him since I read “The Art Of The Deal” — back in the ‘90s I believe. If you call him a media-made celebrity because he wrote that book, well... OK. Cruz wrote a book; does that make him a media-made celebrity?

Trump generally makes good, successful deals and he takes responsibility when there’s a problem. I doubt he would say, “Well, I voted the way I did because I believed Mitch McConnell.” That’s some disturbing discernment right there. Who, in his right and conservative mind, would believe Mitch McConnell about anything?

At this point in time, Trump’s position is the most conservative when it comes to illegal immigration. When he has something to say he doesn’t tap dance around the stand he’s taking and resort to political weasel words. Those GOP candidates who have held, or now hold, political office cannot utter a statement without passing it through some ungodly filter as to whether or not it’s PC. We don’t want bafflegab; we want the truth plain and simple.
