I’m starting to agree with you.

I have always supported Sarah Palin above any other candidate, I would even have supported her as a presidential candidate over Trump. Big time.

I supported her as Trump’s VP running mate. But I am starting to think maybe Cruz is a good choice.

Maybe. It’s still very early, but I’m starting to think Cruz might be a good choice.

We can only watch the campaign unfold for the next 6 weeks, but my sense is that neither Trump nor Cruz will fade before Iowa and New Hampshire.

CNN says this morning that it’s Trump 39 and Cruz 18. That says that the Quinnipiac poll was on the low side of the domain of polls. I think it said 28/24. Averaging those gives 33.5 Trump and 21 Cruz. Even the Real Clear Politics average yesterday had a +15 for Trump.

Iowa being a caucus makes it a different creature. But Trump IS an organization. He knows to organize in Iowa. We’re also told that Cruz has spent his money well on organizing in Iowa, and he is the heir of Iowa’s evangelicals. I expect a near tie score in Iowa, and a win for Trump in NH. Once the race goes south with those facts on the table, it gets hard to predict. Cruz could inspire huge Christian conservative support, but the numbers now have Trump leading in those states by comfortable margins.

The Empire must strike and strike soon. They tried with their stupid ‘schlonged’ meme yesterday, but I think that was easily brushed aside.

The Establishment needs a final offensive, and I think the only way they’ll get it is to have all the current establishment numbers go to one candidate. Just being honest, and not because I’m anti-Bush, I just don’t think Jeb has it. He’s just not dynamic. It has to be Rubio. They need all the others to drop out before NH to leave Rubio an open path, or they’re just going to get buried.

Trump will own New York and New Jersey.
