To: Cringing Negativism Network
And everyone needs healthcare. Every single person.

You haven't thought it through. As a Catholic, I know that healthcare is not a 'right', because not all people are born with equal physical health. Even though all humans are born with equal dignity and worth, they differ widely in physical health and ability at birth and throughout life. Further, we can see from scripture that healthcare is an opportunity for charity. As long as the government is calling the shots, our healthcare system will be a disaster.

So then, get government out of healthcare.

But get them completely, totally out of healthcare.

Out of regulating, out of monitoring, out of healthcare. Completely. Give it back to the public.

That means, open up schools, allow all healthcare, allow competition. No government at all.

I’m all for that. But we need to get government out of it completely.

Somehow I don’t think anyone is proposing that.

I am. Or else we need government, to keep it fair. One or the other.
