This is exactly what I have said all along. The driver, in this case the training officer, put the passenger officer in a very bad situation. My initial assessment is that the training officer should be fired. I am glad I am not alone in this assessment.
This is the opinion of my sibling who has been an officer for 24 years, a training officer for the last 9 years and also the opinion of at least a dozen other officers whom I have known and worked with for several years. The kid died needlessly.
