I’m reminded of the SouthPark episode called “ManBearPig”

Al Gore harasses the SP kids about his make-believe creature called ManBearPig and risks their lives in his pursuit to kill it.

In the Al Gore character’s mind there is zero uncertainty as to the existence of the creature and he becomes violently inconsolable whenever he encounters resistance to his insane antics.

This was written to mock the anthropogenic climate change fanatics and their insane zeal to demonize the so-called “deniers”.

We see this behavior play out somewhere every single day. It isn’t enough that they believe that man is adversely affecting the climate (an absurdity on the face of it) but that we must commit ALL of our resources to “solving the crisis”. No debate (”The science is settled”), no discussion. There are climate-change adherents who advocate imprisonment and even summary execution for deniers!

How are we supposed to amicably deal with such thoroughly dysfunctional and disputatious people?!
