There’s the US vs. Wong Ark from the 1890’s as a start. Ark was a child of Chinese nationals who were legal residents of the US, but the ruling that he was a US citizen by birth (following a letter of the law reading of the 14th amendment) was used as a precedent for children of illegals in 20th century cases.
