but phones are ringing off the hook here with weather warnings being texted as emergencies
We got this warning a couple of hours ago here in the Atlanta area.
just got it here in Charlotte
I see the thunder boomers heading my way!
This sounds like the same area in N.C. that flooded a couple of months ago.
Does it include Asheville?
10 days later, you will have snow :)
Just like here in Columbia. I have had my time in flood water.
I kind of miss Charlotte since I grew up around there.
Hey race...I’m up around the Gboro area. I know I’m sick and tired of all the rain (septic system NOT happy!). and yall have gotten it quite a bit worse...stay safe!
I just got one effective until 4pm. Thunder in Huntersville.
na , freezing rain to bring down all those nasty trees and power lines
Great. Vacationing near Boone. Came thru Charlotte to get here. Obviously it was also on our route home.
new warnings blaring, alert till 1730 local time
“There is a lot of clay soil, so most rain takes a while to be absorbed...”
Tell me about it... Been trying to build a deck for a couple of months but the area cleared for the deck is a SWIMMING POOL. Might just put in a diving board instead.
