The Kim Davis rivalry made me take a second look at Huckabee. Not that I was considering his candidacy in 2016 anyway. I didn’t like the way he seemed to want all the ‘glory’ for himself when Kim was let out of jail. Mike’s stage handlers refused to allow Ted onstage to speak at that moment.
It may have just been a misunderstanding, but I think it was territorial drive.

Sounds like a good strategy to take down Cruz. Can’t blame them for trying. Who’s behind the super-PAC? Could be the GOPe but it’s Trump who would likely benefit most from Cruz’ demise.

I think you hit the nail on the head with your “territorial drive” comment.

That big group of Christian Conservative organizations just endorsed Cruz. Huck was ticked, but his comments about it revealed a strong sense of entitlement over the endorsement. Not only because of his evangelical preacher credentials, but also because he was expecting a quid pro quo for years of supporting THEIR causes.
