Yeah I have to agree with you there. After I saw the shenanigans this year with helping the SEC out all year in voting...they need to get rid of polls and just go with conference champs. This way the conference know that they have a playoff at the end and have to have a single team at the top...doesn’t matter if they are ranked 1 or 10 they will get their one team in the playoffs.

The rankings are a joke after all. When you see a team go from 15 to 2nd because they beat Alabama and then lose a few times after that and stay in the polls just to help Alabama’s position in the polls—well let’s just say ESPN doesn’t like to lose money backing the SEC.

***This way the conference know that they have a playoff at the end and have to have a single team at the top.***

And that single team at the top in the SEC was Alabama! So by your logic, Alabama is exactly where they should be. That would also mean Notre Dame would go every year, which is ludicrous.

Face it. Everyone thought the BCS was biased because there were so many SEC teams at the top and winning National championships. Now there are still more SEC teams at the top. The SEC is just better. Sorry if folks can’t handle that.

And ESPN hates the SEC and everyone whose honest knows it. And Alabama is at the top of the list.

Only three conferences really matter; the AFC, the NFC and the SEC. So far, the SEC is 4 and 1 this post season with more to play.

Did ANY other conference even have five teams in postseason games?

Did ANY other conference have a majority of their teams make the postseason?

Speaking of overrated, it took two overtimes for OU to beat lowly Tennessee, yet they were in the playoff for the title.

The Ohio State and ND suck so bad they had to be paired off together in their own little game so they wouldn’t stink up two events. Heck, OSU had to go SEC to get a coach, and ND is still liable to get beaten by Appalachian State (speaking of toothless southern protestant football powerhouses)!

So next year all the non SEC teams will run up their records playing schedules filled with teams like Toledo and Wake Forest, be promoted like hell on ESPN, and 80% will be beaten by the SEC in the postseason.
