I am biased because of this reason: I have worked with developmentally disabled people for most of my life. Glee had this one character where the actress had Downs Syndrome. She wanted to try out for cheerleading and the coach was really hard on her. The glee kids and teachers were really mad about it. They were really condescending to her. The coach tore them a new one. It was great to watch. Later on the coach got pregnant and found out the baby would have Downs. No abortion she just went about her business.
The main gay guy was so stereotypical it was laughable. When he was being bullied it wasn’t by a heterosexual guy it was by a self hating gay. When a Transgender character was introduced he wanted to play Rizzo in Grease. His parents were all Absolutely not. He can do whet ever he wants after he graduates but no. Which more parents should do.
Not to say it’s a good show, I continued watching it to the end to win a bet, but it’s better then some of the other cap out there
No more threads about superhero movies? Star Wars? Fantasy crapola like Game of Thrones?
I'm all for that.
What I saw in the push for gay marriage was judge shopping galore and the use of sympathetic local officials in concerted action to push the envelope state by state.
Good lawyers and lots of $$$$$ will no doubt help this Hollywood guy deal with tough charges.
