It did have a couple good points. It was unabashedly pro life. When the sophomore cheerleader gets pregnant, her friend mentions abortion. With no hesitation she says “no that is not even a consideration. She ends up giving the baby up for adoption. Later on the main girl who is adopted says to her bio mom “but you had a career you were going to be a star, do you ever regret having me?” The mom says that she has a lot of regrets and mistakes but the only decision she never questioned was having her.
Also, in a Christmas episode, the Irish Catholic character reads the story of Jesus’s birth. He does this because they are all singing secular carols and he wants to be sure they get why Christmas exists at all. Say what you will about the gayness, I agree. But it wasn’t all bad.
Also Kristen Chenoweth giving a gay guy a flask of whiskey “to ease the pain of the wedding night sodomy” cracked me up.
Everyone of their pro homo shows has a few decent episodes as bait. This is without exception in today’s homowood.
