My guess is the owner has seen several businesses burned to the ground and the non-intervention of mayors and governors.
So, arson and looting appear to be “nothing to see here, move along” to some elected politicians.
What could possibly go wrong?
He probably knows better to complain. Whoever organized the protests got permission from the Mayor’s Office before they went there.
