You know what, I have zero problem with a charitable group (it was) giving teddy bears and soccer balls to unaccompanied children who were cajoled, forced, abandoned, or chose to cross into this country illegally while the feckless administration decided what to do with them. And I can also say and believe that they should have been deported as quickly as possible. The two things are not mutually exclusive.
But as usual, the trumpeters have no scruples and no discernment. Which is why they have found their perfect candidate...because Trumo is utterly lacking in both of those traits as well....as well as ANY credibility as a conservative.

The fact that you are suspicious of Cruz but so trusting of Trump (a lifelong liberal until he suddenly decided to become The White Obama) does not speak well of you.
Many of the Trump fanatics need Teddy bears more than illegal kids do. Their worldview is one of a child.
There are some that base their views on hard evidence and things they believe. They arent the problem. But they are drowned out daily by examples on this thread.
Trump never talks about the Constitution, liberty, or small government. In fact, he seems not to understand those principles and even favors the opposite.
But to your point...look at these people wanting Trump installed as a dictator. How well do you think they understand the Constitution, or even give a rip for it?

You need to let that go. I am a conservative, all my friends and family are conservative and we all support Trump because his stands are conservative.
What did he say last night that got the audience going with liberal causes? Or does he ever get an audience cheering by supporting liberal causes? Which one of his policy papers supports liberal causes? Why did he not run as a liberal democrat if he is so liberal? Why do liberals hate him, like you do, if he is so liberal?
My total opposition to trump has also been categorized as support for hitlery.

I’m for expanding H1B visas too. From PERSONAL experience I know we need it.
My position on immigration is this: Illegals must not get citizenship. That’s all I care about. If they want to stay and pick my grapes, I could care less. I don’t want them getting welfare benefits or citizenship.
NOW...maybe you can show me where Cruz ever supported assault weapons bans, contributed to leftist Democrats (like Terry McAuliffe just 2 years ago!), advocated a “wealth tax,” supported adding protection for faggots to the civil rights laws, abused eminent domain (or supported its abuse)......

I won't be one of them. If he goes looney left I guess we live with it, but we have lived through several of them, so we are used to it. If he only does one of the things he touts, that being shutting down illegal immigration and deport the illegals then it might, might save us from the socialism that the immigrants bring with them.
I don't think Cruz has been honest on his true feeling on immigration. Again where I live my opinion matters not one whit, I only get to vote for the person the rulers have given me.
I lived in Southern California for 30years and watched the destruction of a great state, even worse I watched the people of a formerly conservative state become sold out socialists because of illegal immigration.
