The media worked to counter concerns about Wright, what if they had worked to heighten those concerns?
It comes down to what the media can make of it as propaganda.
The last time the media tried to use religious associations against a nominee was Nixon and that didn’t get far.
But the media is much more powerful these days.
Probably like you, I don’t see anything here of concern.
But there are a lot of media sluts out there.
I certainly agree that Hillary and here media accomplices will attempt to make this an issue in the campaign if Cruz is on either the top or bottom of the ticket. But I think Ted is more than capable of exposing such shameful attempts for what they are with far more aplomb and devastating effect than Romney did with similar “concerns” about his Mormon beliefs.
