A true news story, or a legit opinion column, includes the name of who wrote it. Otherwise, it's just a rant by another anonymous internet troll ashamed to attach his/her real name to his/her word

Sounds a lot like Dianne Feinstein's views. She also wants to mandate real names for commenters. Most of us understand that only conservatives have their lives turned upside down for a mere opinion. Unlike you, I respect my fellow FReepers and their written opinions, regardless of what screen name they choose to represent them.

No one should be forced to use their real name. But then their posts should be considered in context when they write editorials. I use my real name and stand behind what I write.

Dude, read. I said nothing, zip zero nada.....NOTHING....about government forcing anyone to do anything. How can you go there? You are fantasizing again.

I also wasn’t talking about just commenters...I was mainly referring to WEBSITE COLUMNISTS who produce work under a non name.

Government shouldn’t force any of it - but I have the right to call it gutless, which I do. Not all comments, but all columnists and the asshole posters. If you’re gonna publish or come with a strong take, be man enough to own it. If not, you have no respect.

You are just off your meds.
