It’s not rocket science. Both men have a record. One is conservative, one isn’t. Spout all the words you like. That’s the bottom line.
A conservative will support a conservative. A moderate will not when there is a moderate/liberal available. Conservatism is well defined. You are with it or you are with something else. Binary. You don’t get to redefine it so you can sit at the table too with non conservative beliefs.
“A conservative will support a conservative”
Oh I get it now.
The rhetoric is not based on what the candidate’s positions are and their campaign performance. And as most here have stated, they are either Trump supporters or are Cruz people that are ok either way, but it’s now a matter of the high masters declaring candidate A to be the one you will be forced to back because he is the designated conservative, and you are ideologically REQUIRED to back him even though you have legitimate misgivings about aspects of his candidacy.
Shut up and vote as I say!
You Cruz people are playing a dangerous game with this. Conservatism is NOT a totalitarian philosophy and you will not demand nor shame the people here into voting for whom you demand.
“A conservative will support a conservative. A moderate will not when there is a moderate/liberal available. Conservatism is well defined.”
Would you please post the definition of a Conservative then? And while you’re about it; how about the definition of a Christian. I’m not being sarcastic really; I just don’t think I’ve ever seen either laid out in specific fashion.
Itâs not rocket science. Both men have a record. One is conservative, one isnât. Spout all the words you like. Thatâs the bottom line.

Interesting that the “conservative” voted for TPA (before he voted against it) and supports H1B Visas.
