DENTON, Texas - Denton Police say a 20-year-old University of North Texas student has died after being taken off life support following a shooting overnight.
Sara Mutschlechner was driving along North Elm Street around 2 a.m. Friday when a black Toyota or Lexus SUV pulled up next to her. Words were exchanged and someone in the SUV opened fire, police said.

On a roadway, just make a sudden right turn without any warning. Then, if necessary, make another sudden right turn. And yes, I know that's easy to say from an armchair. When you're actually in such a situation, it's tough to make all the right decisions on the fly.
Bottom line: That girl died for nothing, and those involved should all swing from the gallows.

Slavery is forbidden by the Torah. The only slavery permitted Israel was to provide for the enemy survivors of an existential war. All other cases were to provide resolution for indebtedness and poverty, and even then only for a limited time. Slavery as it was practiced in the Americas was strictly forbidden by the Torah. In fact kidnapping a person and selling him as a slave is a capital crime according to the Torah, punishable by death. But after Christianity chose to leave the Torah anything was possible. Hence the horrors of Papal abuse, inquisition, Crusades and yes, Slavery. It will not go well for the perpetrators on Judgement Day. For everyone living there is still time to repent and seek the face of G-d. Why wait?
Apparently at least two have been identified. Denton? I bet they’re dead already - or wish they were. We most likely won’t hear any follow up news either. Denton PD probably won’t even report if/when the scums’ corpses are found.

I had a talk with a young reformed Navajo man just the other day and asked for his perspective of the crime; drugs, alcohol, incest, rape, etc on the reservation and he gave me similar pessimism/reality.
No solution in sight.

I won't argue that point, at all. Every tactical situation has a best solution. But that solution is just one option among many, maybe among dozens.
So I don't fault any person for picking the wrong option while under great stress. All I'm saying is this. Try to think ahead. Try to imagine the best response to this situation, or to that situation. Teach that sort of approach to your kids.
I do NOT fault any innocent person who chooses the wrong option, or who maybe chooses no option at all. Stress can paralyze.
The only person I fault is the filthy SOB who pulled the trigger on that poor soul.

And yes, I agree that people should learn situational awareness but sometimes there is no way you can get out.
Sadly there are times when you are out gunned, out numbered and trapped.
