This prosecution was vindictive, well outside the bounds of what any responsible person could consider reasonable. That is why the judge deviated from the federal sentencing guidelines.

If we had a real president, these two ranchers would be pardoned. The problem is we have a thug in our White House, and he wants to punish his political enemies. The current Administration assumed that all criminals are democrats and all cowboys are republicans, and corrupt government bureaucrats treat citizens accordingly.

According to twitter . They found a stack of keys, so no breaking and entering...

“I also suspect the FBI could be a bit sympathetic.”

The FBI has families.

So much for Freedom of Speech!!!!!
If I had a twitter account, which I do not for just this type of reason, I would cancel it immediately!
We as a people got along just fine for centuries without Twitter or FaceBook for that matter. A friend of mine was thrown off of Facebook for the same reasons. She supported Trump!

Given the full history I kind of agree with the cause, and can even see the merit of what the protesters did to bring attention to the injustice here.

As long as they don’t hurt anyone or do any intentional damage they have the moral high ground.

.
They have the legal high ground too.

Oregon is a Guadalupe Hidalgo state. All arable land was under private ownership at the time the treaty was signed, thus the BLM cannot have any legal claim to any of it.

They tricked many land owners into signing grazing leases, supposedly to protect their claim to the land.

Making a deal with the Devil is always a bad choice.

.
The US has a rogue government in place.

Any and all actions of the people in resistance thereto is right and proper.

.
In a reasonable and proper world, everyone would resign their twitter and face book accounts, and drive those bastards broke.

The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo applies to former terrorist1 of mexico sold to the USA after the War.

Oregon was regarded as part of the Louisiana territories claimed by the USA.
