Cruz is misrepresenting Trump’s position, which, to me, suggests Cruz is feeling threatened by this debate. Let us hope that Trump pursues this. It’ll be fun to watch it play out.
I hope Cruz does not fall for yet another Media hackjob against Trump, Msm is desperate to take Trump down and that speaks volumes about how much he scares the liberal media and the rinos

Obammy’s mommie was too young to confer citizen ship to Barry it was only because he was supposed born on US Soil, Hawaii at the time that he is even a “citizen”.
Cruz’s mom was old enough to confer citizenship even if she was overseas provided she didn’t renounce her citizenship during her stay in Canada.
If Cruz wins the nom, the Dems are coming after him. One Congressman is already on record to go after him. No doubt more Dems would follow.
How can we research that?

Sadly, Cruz does not want to be on this territory. It just allows Trump to drive home the point that Cruz renounced in 2014, and was born in Canada to a Cuban father. The other details don’t matter. It puts Cruz on the defensive and brings up questions about his immigration stances. It also brings his crackpot Dad into the picture.
Everyone thought Trump went to far with Ben Carson with his famous belt buckle speech, but it destroyed Carson.
Trump mentioned this line of attack like 9 months ago before he announced, so I’m not surprised. I think he is rather glad Cruz is his last competitor and may have even planned it.
Again, I don’t totally think this is right of DT but it will work. And he has planned this line of attack for a long time.
Funny how Cruz was campaigning before he renounced his Canadian citizenship and WHY are the American and Canadian Records BLOCKED? Just like Obama’s. Why are they so secret?All FOI requests are denied.
The question is natural born citizenship— this has never been defined by the courts. Does it come from the mother, the father, or do both parents have to be citizens? Furthermore, there is the possibility that Cruz’s mother was in the process of getting Canadian citizenship at the time for tax purposes. Lastly, Cruz was a dual citizen up until last year, until he dropped it after the natural born spectre raised its head.
It is not as clear cut as Cruz’s backers want people to believe.

The Democrats have no case against Cruz as all the facts about his birth are known and his mother was a US citizen.
Cruz is clearly a NBC, while Obama is most likely not.
If he did he does not know the law, including SCOTUS decision.

There is no evidence that Cruz’s mom every attempted to gain Canadian citizenship and even if so, she would still be an American citizen.
Finally, Simply because one is or was a Dual Citizen does not mean that they cannot be a natural born citizen.
