Retail is getting hammered by Amazon. People go to stores now to look at stuff. Go home and order it. No sales tax and lower price. With Prime for 99 bucks you get next day shipping all year.
It’s a wonder any retail store survives that. Expecting both Sears and Best Buy to bite the dust within a year or two.
Retail brick and mortar stores are giving way to online shopping. Easier and in some cases, safer than going to a mall infested with hoodlums.

The media will never admit that boycotts work. They will give every reason under the sun for Macy’s demise but the right one.
The Trump Effect
I don’t know if this has anything to do with Trump, but the last time I was in Macy’s it looked like a junk shop. The time before that when I was in Macy’s they had seemingly thousands of the same sweater my daughter had bought me the year before, and I’d bet a dollar to a donut she’d gotten it on sale then.
So, something is very wrong with Macy’s and I think it predates any Trump related issues.

I’m a Macy’s shopper with a little money in my pocket, and I can NOT find anything GOOD to buy at Macy’s!! Their FABRICS are CRAP!!
