Up to this point, a lot of the American people may have dismissed some of the criticism against Hillary as just partisan politics. They hear some Republican politician yapping about Benghazi, don't know who to believe, and so tune it out.
The reason the Swift Boat ads were so effective is that the Swift Boat vets were not politicians, but rather ordinary Americans commenting on their military service. That got peoples' attention.
If this gentleman is willing to call publicly for a lie detector test, then you know he's going to be willing to make an ad come election time. Having a man up there who lost his some look into a camera and say what Hillary told him, at the same time she was telling her own daughter and foreign governments something different, will be extremely powerful. It will be almost impossible for the left to attack him and the others, because attacking the parents of a man who gave his life for his country will just backfire.
This really could be big if the ads are done well and timed right.
Tyrone Woods’ dad Charles & Shawn Smith’s mom should get some sort of medal. Imagine losing a “child” (no matter how old they are, they’re always your child) in the service of your country, having the Secretary of State lie to your face in the presence of your child’s body covered by the American flag, and then have her lie again about the original lie she told you personally. I cannot imagine the anger they must feel. They are very brave to go up against Hillary (and Obama by extension since he also touted the video). America needs to rally behind these folks and support them. I almost cry every time I see Smith’s mom on the TV.
