The SDA believe in the false doctrines of soul sleep and annihilationism. Basically they believe that all who die remain unconscious until the final resurrection and the saved go to Heaven and the unsaved are destroyed.
Yes, Camping believed in annihilationism which makes one wonder what they thought they were accomplishing with “Save the Date”. As you said, completely wrong and unBiblical.
In the interview, Carson didn’t go into any of the soul sleep versus eternal lake of fire. He just specifically rejected the whole dungeon of devils version of Hell.
I never bothered to research Carson’s religious views because all versions of amnesty shills are my oponents.
that’s actually what the Bible says; there is no day of judgement until Christ’s return so no one is in heaven until then. Then, on that day, like the parable of the wheat and the tares, we are harvested at once where the believers rise and non believers perish.
