Uh oh. If this is true, this is not good. Read the article before posting. It clearly says that Eleanor Cruz could not have been a Canadian citizen in 1970, when Ted was born. She had only lived in Canada for three years, and 5 years residence was required.

Read the article before posting. It clearly says that Eleanor Cruz could not have been a Canadian citizen in 1970, when Ted was born. She had only lived in Canada for three years, and 5 years residence was required. That is the sort of thing, which if true, makes the entire point of someone writing an article about this, silly, misleading, and pointless.

On the first page, it says it is preliminary, and was compiled by canvassers going door-to-door.
IMHO its a census, to be checked against citizenship records, and a voter roll then generated.
