Republican presidential hopeful Senator Marco Rubio formed a religious freedom advisory board including several prominent Evangelical leaders and academic experts.
Board members have not necessarily endorsed Rubio's bid to become the Republican presidential nominee, but serve in and advisory capacity and are free to advise other candidates.
According to WORLD News Group, the board includes Saddleback Church leader Rick Warren, National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference President Samuel Rodriguez, theologian Wayne Grudem, and Baylor University History Professor Thomas S. Kidd.
In an interview with The Christian Post, the Rev. Rodriguez explained that he agreed to be part of the advisory board because he had "great affinity, respect, and admiration for Senator Rubio."
"We have yet to meet, but we are looking forward to meeting and discussing the critical issue of religious liberty," said Rodriguez.

Rick Warren believes Christian God and Muslim Allah are the same.
WRONG!
Forming this board so close to the Iowa Vote?
I will take whatever support comes our way on the religious freedom issue. I do not, however, trust Rubio or Warren further than I can throw them. Pancake politicians get elected and then flip to the other side. I see Rubio as dishonest so there is nothing that will make me vote for him.
Above somebody’s pay-grade?
Have not recently checked Warren’s website, but awhile back he had on there his evil project called Chrislam, a project to merge Christianity with Islam.
What an evil SOB he is, fooling so many.
Rubio pairing with Warren is so..................perfectly reveals their true agenda.
Wow that’s horrible.
Bye-bye Rubio.
“”Rubio pairing with Warren is so perfectly reveals their true agenda.””
I wasn’t leaning toward Rubio and now I’ll certainly give him wide berth - not interested in anyone associating with Warren...
Warren’s youth had the satanic dance.. with animal heads.. men dressed as women.. that video has since been removed from his website.. but it was going on in his church.
Rubio has not checked with whom he has formed an alliance.. he should know better.. and the fact he does not, is indicative of his small knowledge of the church and such.
Rick Warren? See ya’ later alligator.
I threw “40 Days of Purpose” in the garbage after 2008. Didn’t send it to the library.
I know what you mean.
Years ago, I fell for it. We got as far as the first page, when my husband said............”This is garbage. No more.”
We threw it in the trash as well.
Wow, had not heard about the Satanic dance before.
Wasn’t it Warren who said a “prayer” at Obama’s inauguration in 2008? Seems like a good match.
confirms satin is everywhere
Yes, it is truly horrible. He has fooled so many.
With a close personal friend, I had to copy/paste the actual Chrislam thing from his website back then. At least one more Christian got clued in because she was very appreciative.
>>not interested in anyone associating with Warren...
Agreed!
Yes, it was Warren. The media generally do not know enough about the Christian faith to correctly comment. Warren has been on the edge for a long time. He had to be told that satanic dance was not proper... even then, he didn’t do anything about it until it was put out there for everyone to see and gasp over what they were doing.
Rick Warren is often called "America's most influential spiritual leader." He founded Saddleback Church in Orange County, California, which is now one of the largest and best-known churches in the world. He also founded the Purpose Driven Movement, a network of tens of thousands of churches from all denominations in 160 countries. He has trained over 350,000 pastors worldwide. Calling him a "spiritual entrepreneur," Forbes magazine said, "If Warren's ministry was a business it would be compared with Dell, Google, or Starbucks in impact." Rick and Kay Warren give away 90 percent of the profits from their books to charitable causes, including their global P.E.A.C.E. plan and Acts of Mercy, which services those infected with and affected by AIDS. Warren gave the invocation at President Barack Obamaâs inauguration in January 2009.
Interestingly I was told to buy that book. I did and now I'm not sure about the motives of the person who told me (not online, real life person).
