Obama Spies on His Enemies in Congress
American Thinker ^ | Jeannie DeAngelis

Posted on 01/11/2016 9:47:35 AM PST by Stayfree

Now, after learning that the Executive branch of the U.S. government spied on the Legislative branch, it’s less confusing as to why the former Speaker of the House, John Boehner (R-OH), and his compadre in the Senate, Mitch McConnell (R-KY), seemed so reticent in resisting this president.

The law is a ass. Where the hell are the Republicans?

Oh. Right. They're a ass, too.

While I was researching articles on Obama spying on Israel, my computer kept freezing up attempts to copy certain phrases would not process even after rebooting my computer...I am certain someone was watching what I was trying to do...

so I say to the NSA, "Don't mess with me, it is not in your best interest!"

‘Based on the seriousness of the spying accusation, if true, Barack Obama should step down or be impeached, which may require the Republicans in Congress to pull up their pants, place concern for self aside, and finally do something that’s long overdue — put the survival of America first.’

LOL....I just cant envision it. At any rate, this is why character counts. The dems know this but it seems the other party does not. What a useless lot they are.

Obama is a traitor who has abused the powers of the government.

But, that’s old news. What I’m also wondering is, are there any leaders in the GOP whose lives are clean enough that monitoring would not turn up blackmail-quality scandal?

I mean, if my communications were monitored, someone might find embarrassing and intemperate remarks... but nothing that could be used for blackmail. I suspect that’s true of almost all of us.

There is the law that gets discussed on sites like FR and there is the law of what you can get away with doing without significant negative consequences. Just ask Hillary.

Where the hell are the Republicans?

This is why we've been so insistent that 'pubs be unquestionable and open on moral and legal issues. Because Republican voters tend to be more interested in ethics and morals, when our pols have issues, OF COURSE they'll be exploited by the opposition.

What's the answer for those who want political office but don't want to be above blackmail? Run as a Democrat.

Do our candidates have to have perfect pasts? No. But once they run, they better have (1) put past indiscretions out in the open and (2) stopped misbehavin'.

I've long suspected this. There's no other way to explain some of the head scratching behavior by the Republicans except for being either compromised or fully on board with regards to their support of Obama.
It also explains why Congressional investigations appear to go nowhere and eventually disappear.

I’d be more shocked, and wouldn’t believe it, that obama DIDN’T spy on EVERYONE!

Blackmailed. Which is exactly what everyone feared with the patriot act.

Traitors to the constitution and rule of law will do what they can get away with. Since the Patriot Act, traitors can get away with anything.
