Well, she’s a Southern, pal. Like it or not.

Same with the many other Indians I met in Greenville who work at any number of the industries new to the state.

Industries which moved to SC in large part due to her business friendly policies.

Like it or not a good many Southerners aren’t white - like your Senator Tim Scott.

I remember when Christine Todd Whitman gave the response she had an audience at NJ Statehouse as I recall. Although I was never a great fan of Whitman I never understood why the response speeches never have an audience.

She lacked the good sense to address a mass murder in her state without tangling it up with something that had nothing to do with the murders. She's just one more servant to political correctness, something a large portion of this nation is sick of.
