You either were not around at that time or were not paying attention. Reagan was not loved by everyone until after he died. He doesn’t matter now, to liberals
I was both there AND listening carefully, as I was serving our country at the time, having barely survived the Carter years. Liberals disliked Reagan, but it is in no way close to the way that Trump is being demonized constantly and fanatically. If you can't see the difference, then it was you who were not there in the Reagan days or are out of touch with the anti-Trump mania going on now. Among liberals, he is easily the most vilified and hated man in recent political memory.
