“Why would Trump be the easiest to beat when he has double the poll numbers of the closest competitor?”

Well, my very conservative wife and very conservative older daughter (former USMC) hate Trump. Two of the guys I talked to at church, also conservative, are uncertain they could vote for Trump in the general.

I’d vote Trump over Hillary in a heartbeat, but I wouldn’t expect much if he wins. And I can see how he might well lose a general election. There are a number of conservatives who find him almost as repulsive as Hillary, and who might sit out the election.

No polling numbers there, just talking with some folks I know who voted GWB, McCain and Romney...but who may pass on Trump.

Well, EVERYONE I know in many different states, including N.Y. and Ill., and my family are ALL very eager and happy to vote for Trump...many can’t stand Cruz.

I suppose that the votes of all my conservative family and acquaintances cancel out yours.
