Repeatedly cross-posting the same thing (and a cut-and-paste, at that) on multiple threads is just bad form on Internet forums, dude. You’ve made your point; by repeating it, you’re not changing anyone’s mind-—everyone has already viewed it and judged it, its veracity, its bias (simply watching ONE of Trump’s almost NIGHTLY stump speeches-—all available on YouTube-—disproves many of the graphic’s assertions). JR is very patient to allow you to do this. CR’s analysis in the graphic is disingenuous at best. And I’m one of those Trump/Cruz guys-—or have been until I’ve seen the stupidity of the FR Cruz posters, which is one of the things which makes me question Cruz.

It’s clear that 99% of the anti-Trump copy-and-pasters have never watched one minute of a Trump stump speech. Just like how liberals know exactly what the Rush show is about and how Rush is-—then we find out they’ve never listened to one minute.

I, and most people, can respect the opinions of others, especially here on FR, BUT the opinion of someone who has not done one iota of research, well, their opinion is worthless.

Good case in point is “Cruz is eligible”, without reading one word of the complex, centuries old facts of what the Constitution says, what God’s law says, what common law says, what court decisions’ precedents have said. Instead of actually gaining an INFORMED opinion, you put the jerk into “knee-jerk” by pronouncing Cruz eligible, while legal scholars are not even unanimous, and they HAVE read all the relevant material.

gg188, the Trump bashers may have another strategy in mind. The Republican selected by party poohbahs to deliver the post state-of-the-Union address was Nikki Haley, one of the gaggle of non-citizen-parent candidates being touted as a follow on to Obama, who never claimed to be a natural born citizen. Let’s assume that Cruz and Haley, being discussed by Democrats as a likely vice presidential choice should beat Hillary, or whomever, a challenge by a Democrat, Republican, or anyone to whom a federal court deigns to grand “standing”, eligibility will go to the courts and then to Congress, which has Constitutional standing to designate an eligible replacement.

Call it a conspiracy or a strategy. Even most of our sitting Senators in 2008 agreed, unanimously, that a natural born citizen must have been born to parents who were citizens. That Senate Resolution 511, April 2008, sponsored by Obama campaign co-chair Clair McCaskill, Hillary, Leahy with others including Obama signing on to the Resolution to claim that McCain should be considered a natural born citizens, in spite of not having been born on U.S. soil (a technicality, since the Canal Zone treaty was not signed until 1937, McCain, born in 1936, was not born on our soil). I too don’t question McCain’s allegiance, but he needed a clarification by the only branch with authority to interpret the Constitution, the Supreme Court.

Are “Republicans” creating a context in which Congress could select another candidate, invoking Amendment XX? They know what Article II Section 1 Clause 5 says. They signed SR 511, even if none of them has read the dozen or so cases invoking or citing the definition. Why, after Trump, are the leading candidates, Cruz, Rubio, Jindal, and the presumed VP offering, Nikki Haley, all born to non-citizen parents? This cannot be coincidental.

You know what? I think Trump is indispensable in this election season. While not my choice, I think he’s at a point in his life where he sees thing more clearly, and says what’s on his mind. Is he presidential? No. Could he do the job, yes. Again, not my choice. This is between Cruz and Rubio. I could see both of them warming the chair, and I wouldn’t have a worry in the world about it.

If Trump gets the nomination, however, I will back him to the ends of the earth. This is our last chance, we’d better get it together. No more McCain’s or Romney’s and definitely no more apologies.
