I remember it being Aceh province. As I recall, it is very hard core islamic. I just remember thinking about all that money being sent, out of pure compassion, to help people who would kill you if given a chance.
By chance, I lived in Aceh for three years from 1973 to 1976. (oil and gas business) Muslim even then, but under secular law like the rest of Indonesia. It was a beautiful, peaceful place back then, with a few Christian churces even!
I think they are all gone now and I would not set foot back there for mega millions.
