A federal appeals court ruled this week that wearing a military medal you didn't earn is protected under the First Amendment.

Even doing so makes someone else feel bad?
Absolutely disgraceful.
Welcome to the age of usurpation.
Those men seeking out and exposing the frauds should be covered by friendlies
President Trump will have our backs soon
So Ketchup John F-in Kerry can breath easy. No one is going after him for his phony Purple Heart.
So let’s see if I get this. I actually went and did it. Nothing special, I wasn’t Chesty Puller. Lots of sweat and mud and being up in the night maintaining machine guns. I did the deed. I showed up for work. Got in trouble once (my fault) so I didn’t get the Good Conduct cookie. I’m OK with this. I don’t ask for anything that I haven’t already gotten from the Corps.
But I will be DAMNED if I’m going to jail for pulling a MOH off of some fat pasty poser that is seriously claiming to rate it and has no idea what a MOS or an LES are.

Spitting in the eye (yet again) of every serviceman who served honorably and truly earned the medals. Disgusting.
I meant service-MEN (includes women who served, of course)
I’d take it if they use the medals to get something reserved or offered only to veterans, that would be fraud. Simply wearing a medal could be honoring a father’s service or playing a part in a play or performance art or whatever—even if it is often sniveling cowards wanting to look tougher than they are.
So, can I wear a police uniform on the street as an example of my freedom of expression?
On Halloween, Batman!
