And if immigration isn’t handled, first and foremost, within 4 years the country will have changed demographically to the point where it will never have a chance of being repaired.

You're damned right Coulter is being pragmatic -- she is trying to hold on to as wide a swath of her fan base that she can. If that means supporting functional amoral leftists like Mitt Romney, if that means supporting serial party-switcher and outright "Now-Ted-just-switched-his-views-on-ethanol" liar Donald Trump and suggesting Romney as his VP, so be it.
