I grew up in NYC. It is a hellhole of leftist failure that elects commies as Governors and Mayors. Sure there are millions of former and current warriors, cops and first responders but there are many millions more who hate capitalism, conservatism, the second amendment and natural rights. That’s just the damn truth.
So Establishment progtressives like Morning Joke are siding with Trump.
It’s all I need.

We need Trump in the WH so he can work with all the dems he’s helped get elected and advance their agenda.

there are NY Freepers here that have told us for years that they feel their vote is worthless because the state is run by democrats, same in California, Boston...etc etc

That was a strategic error. There are many ways to make his point without insulting the citizens of New York.

So true! He genuinely likes people. He’s authentic.
I'm not saying Trump (or Cruz) can't win NY, just that if they do that well in a state like NY, they've already won enough swing states that they don't need NY.
Trump must have though Obama was great he voted for him not just once, but twice.
Not to mention Trump showered praise and money on the Clintons after B Clinton had given the Chinese the missile tech necessary to target the US with nukes.
That very same Clinton also gave the Iranians the blue prints for the nuclear triggering device so their nukes would work.
Didn’t matter to Trump. He still believes Clinton was a great president.
B Clinton serial rapist. OK with Trump.
Clintons killed 80 people at Waco, OK with Trump.
Trump and his New York values are great, we need more of it in the WH don’t we.
