You are right. Cruz can now tie Trump to Cuomo and de Blasio. Wonder if someone can find a picture of Trump, de Blasio or Bloomberg, and Cuomo together.

That was the Cruz campaign plan. None of this is by accident.

How many times have I seen that by now?

Pathetic. You honestly think it’s going to change our minds after seven months.

enjoy these last two weeks of your pipe dreams about Ted.

"I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers who have been let down by liberal politicians,"

In a way he is right, but he did it so ham fisted .

* I have friends in the Rochester Area.
* Listen to local radio their over the net, you think you were in a gangland area, hmmm where did that crime come from.
* Then, to top it off, how many kids Upstate out of high school vamonous because their is no opportunity, ask a High School teacher their, they will tell you.
* Then their is Price Albert's and Albany's Gun Laws.
* Then their is No Fracking south of Rochester on the North end of Marcellus, but in PA they are, and Up-State continues to starve.

Ya I get what Ted meant, but I have friends their to get what a mess NY is because of the progressivism that drove El-Rushbo out and many other millionaires and anyone who was culturally conservative and or productive.

Sadly, Ted may have bit off more than he can chew on this one. He is not going to change Down-State, or Albany's politically liberal centricity with one Statement. It may never change in our lifetime sadly.

Who is going to vote for Cruz? He might get 30 percent of the vote. Independents think he is a jerk. Trump will get 40 states including New York.

This is the hard truth. After campaigning for TPA Cruz just doesn’t have a path to 270 EV. MI/OH/PA are off the table and in the Dem column with Cruz on the ticket. Trump takes MI and OH on the trot against the commie or Hildabeast. Easily.

Yes, just returned from visiting my daughter in Ventura. I hate what my grandkids are learning in the public schools there, but I try to teach them some truth every chance I get.

Whew! After reading just a handful of your posts, the irony of you calling a fine man such as Sen. Cruz arrogant and jerk ... Unreal.

Apparently Senator Cruz is running to be President of the portion of the population that completely agrees with him, and the rest of the population be damned. We’ve had eight years of that, and I think a lot of folks are getting really tired of it. Including myself.

Yep. This whole Cruz NY Values episode reeks of the current divider in chief. We don’t need another one of those.

Actually, I have no idea what YOU mean.

Of course that’s WHY Ted said it. That’s a whole other issue from what he MEANT in saying it.

I mean, in saying I don’t know what Cruz meant, you actually inadvertently said the same thing that I did- less articulately, more articulately, who knows, who cares.

But the point I made was that Cruz was saying New York values are liberal.

Which you follow up and say the same thing- “New York values are liberal and Cruz was saying Trump is a New York liberal.”

What’s lost on me is how you figure Cruz isn’t taking return fire. He clearly is. Nor is he trying to shy away from it. As a matter of fact, saying, “I apologize... that New York is such a liberal failure” is a creative way of doubling down.

Ventura..Im surprised..Ventura County is supposedly more Conservative..but I hear even in Conservative districts kids are being indoctrinated to the liberal BS. I have a almost 10 month old nephew, I tell my sister put him in private school but we will see its hard finding a good Conservative school here in LA, not sure they even exist

Nope, they don’t get it. They’re about to get handed their asses and they’re dancing around because they think they think their candidate scored some sort of hit.

YOU think. I AM one of those people. I KNEW exactly who and what he said.

And I agree completely with him.

If Hillary Clinton or Ronald Reagan said it, I would agree with them too. Teds comments piss off exactly two types. NYC liberals and Donald Trump fanbois. Period.

Remember, I AM one of the people you mentioned as potentially being pissed. I’m not. I hope he and everyone else hammer on it because NYC is a rathole and has done more damage to America than anything outside DC and California.

You know WHY it’s seen as a rathole? Because it is. It proves it from today’s liberal spending $11,000 to get her rair ficed (as if anyone cares) to Sharpton, DiBlasio and Clinton/Cuomo.

Why do no conservatives fix it? Because they are outnumbered 10,000 to 1. Rathole. NY Values - Abortion. Gun Control. SJW BS. Clinton. Muslim adoration.

Rathole.

Never thought I’d see so many supposedly conservative FReepers in love with NYC values! Donald Trump acts like the stereotypical NYer - thin-skinned, obnoxious, lashing out at anyone who doesn’t kiss his pampered rear.

The stereotypical NYer - and I’ve met far too many - dumps on the rest of America 24/7/365, then wonders why the rest of America doesn’t give a rat’s rear - rat’s rear being a very good description of NYC - about them!

If 95% of those in NYC are leftist pukes, that still leaves 5% who are not.
