New York City to me politically is Hillary Clinton, Bella Abzug, Anthony Wiener, Madeline not so Bright, Bloomberg and Trump. All politicians from that part of the State are progressives, liberals, socialists, communists or budding tyrants. Someone tell me the last pol from that place who was conservative, smaller government, strict Constitutionalist...any?

do you think Scalia likes NY values?

do you think Cruz likes Harvard values?

Why are you so insecure as to admit that some places have lousy overall values, even as there are a few good people in them?

Scalia, great mind, great man. He probably remembers Teddy Roosevelt, like teens now know who JFK was. Teddy, another “conservative” who loved war and ran against the Republican so the Democrats would win, was from NY. The last time a Conservative politician won office in NYC was several decades ago, probably 5 or 6. Corrupt unions, quarter million dollars to buy the right to run a taxi, the UN, Wall Street, corruption and slimeballs. That is my thought about NYC. Would not want to visit, will never get that close to the “rats cage”.
