She has blood coming out of her wherever?
How many profitable stores do you need to make up for a store that is looted?
There’s a huge variation between different Walmarts. The ones I go to are fine, certainly no worse than other big box stores. Some I’ve been in have been dreadful, particularly the ones in “poor neighborhoods”.
My guess is one of the criteria on store selection for closing would be those that could be prone to rioting and looting and probably already suffering inventory slippage and unionization efforts.

My local news here in DFW flashed a map of 11 WMs that are slated for closing here in North Central TX. It was only on for about 5-10 seconds, but I did see that one was in Southlake. That is a very upscale neighborhood/city, with McMansions and not prone to the looting, etc., you described. It is, however, one of the older stores that was there before Southlake became such a magnet for the rich. .....Perhaps those super rich just don’t do a lot of shopping at WM, so the closing could be due to profits. ..........My Super WM’s parking lot is almost full whenever I go there and it’s fantastic.
Now where are the poor urban yoots and adults going to steal thier rightfully owned merchandise? And what if a ferguson or baltimore breakout erupts? who will the loot?
They didn’t want them, and now they do!! LOL!!! The THEFT must be out of this world in these stores.
Management is part of the problem. I had a customer come into my TLE with tires that wewe so dry rotted that I was surprised they held air. It turns out the owner (a little old lady that looked like Minie Pearl and had a mouth like Andrew Dice Clay) bought the tires there eight years prior and had only put 800 miles on the car since then. She had purchased the road hazard protection and demanded free tires. I told her the tires were dry rotted and that was not covered under the RH policy and even showed her where it says that dry rot is NOT covered. She insisted that with only 800 miles on the tires and not able to pass inspection meant they were defective— The store manager gave her a complete set of top of the line Goodyear Assurance tires.
Wallmart isn’t a wellfare agency, they are in business to make money!!
There are two Walmarts within 8 miles of my home.
One is clean and has a 70 something greeter at the entrance, the other is a pig sty and has several young, Navy Seal type guys walking guard, in tandem, through out the store and has more "eye in the sky" cameras than a Vegas casino. The teens in that store are out of control.
I would only walk through that store if I were dressed in camo, body armor, fully locked and loaded, and in hunting mode. Otherwise, I would have no sane reason to go near that ghettomart. In Walmarts announced round of closings, I'd bet big bucks that this loser is going to be among the ones on the list.
I remember once stopping at a Walmart that was in a not so good neighborhood. I was rather shocked at how they had to hide or shield merchandise so it wouldn’t get stolen or vandalized. The electronics area where they sold tablets, laptops, TVs, etc. was telling. Many tablets weren’t on display. There was a picture of the tablet and you had to ask a clerk to see one. The laptops were behind protective bars or glass. Some things that were exposed were vandalized. I saw keyboards that someone broke off some of the keys. Products that were not locked down were in disarray. They looked like people had picked them up and just thrown them down in random directions.
Or the store attracts the lowlife from Fort Worth. Notice how the scum tends to drive to the better and safer WMs. Maybe Southlakers no longer wish to put their lives at risk by patronizing what used to be their own safe store.
If you go to the one in Plano, you’d be one of the few white people around
True. You always hear about employees that are disciplined or fired for taking action against shoplifters. The thieves end up getting their stuff for free, and are incentivized to come back for more.
And the honest people end up paying for this idiocy in the form of higher prices.
The libs changed the conditions of their end of the agreement after the fact and then blame WalMart for backing out? Tell me again why the poor, poor residents of the East End or any other part of the cesspool known as Washington D.C. deserve any respect?
As they say, an unwritten contract isn't worth the paper that it's printed on.
When WalMart announced that they were going to open stores in DC, my first thought was that they had lost all their marbles to Political Correctness. (My wife has a boatload of WalMart shares.)
11.50 an hour for a non skilled position. Where do they think the money comes from?
The unions pressured the DC libtards trying to change the rules about wage, benefits and number of hours an employee can work...
I know it's probably a shock to these libtards, but WM is in business to be profitable not promote their political aspirations...
I wonder why they dont want to build a store close to roaming bands of feral teenagers.
A close relative works for Walmart and advised a Walmart in Milwaukee was having difficulty operating so “volunteers” from other stores were asked to assist them in straightening things out. Those who came back to their respective stores found it to be a lost cause since the Milwaukee staff couldn’t handle the tasks even with others directing them. Don’t judge all of Milwaukee by one Walmart store.
Is that the mayor’s, “It’s outrageous, egregious, preposterous! “ look?
