Ted Cruz mocks FRENZIED rabid tweetstorm from the Trump!!
The Right Scoop ^ | Jan 16, 2016 | soopermexican

Posted on 01/16/2016 10:02:18 AM PST by Isara

El Trumpo is having a full blown freak out on Twitter against Ted Cruz:

Ted Cruz was born in Canada and was a Canadian citizen until 15 months ago. Lawsuits have just been filed with more to follow. I told you so

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Ted Cruz said he "didn't know" that he was a Canadian Citizen. He also FORGOT to file his Goldman Sachs Million $ loan papers. Not believable

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Was there another loan that Ted Cruz FORGOT to file. Goldman Sachs owns him, he will do anything they demand. Not much of a reformer!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

The Ted Cruz wiseguy apology to the people of New York is a disgrace. Remember, his wife's employer, and his lender, is located there!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

How is this any different from people pointing out two of his wives were immigrants? It’s only tangentially connected.

Oh no, just reported that Ted Cruz didn't report another loan, this one from Citi. Wow, no wonder banks do so well in the U.S. Senate.

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Based on the fact that Ted Cruz was born in Canada and is therefore a "natural born Canadian," did he borrow unreported loans from C banks?

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Ted Cruz purposely, and illegally, did not list on his personal disclosure form personally guaranteed loans from banks. They own him!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Cruz batted away this accusation at the GOP debate, which he is roundly considered to have won.

Ted is the ultimate hypocrite. Says one thing for money, does another for votes. https://t.co/hxdfy0mjVw

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Again, the Donald is just desperately grasping at straws here. Had Ted Cruz told one crowd that he was for gay marriage and another against, he might be hypocritical, but that’s not the case.

Here’s now CNN reports his response:

Cruz declined to comment on the Times report when asked by a CNN reporter during an appearance in Columbia, South Carolina on Friday. But speaking to reporters at a church not far from Charlotte on Saturday, Cruz, who once declined to attack Trump, shed any caution he may have had about laying into his top rival.

“I would note that Donald’s record does not match what he says as a candidate,” Cruz said, gamely tackling questions he routinely swatted away for seven months.

Cruz also aggressively ridiculed Trump’s obsession with the latest opinion surveys, saying that Trump’s attacks on Twitter come because he is “dismayed” about a recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll showing a competitive race.

“I imagine it pulled him out of bed this morning and send him tweeting and tweeting and tweeting,” he said. “I think in terms of a commander in chief, we ought to have someone who isn’t springing out of bed to tweet in a frantic response to the latest polls.”

Cruz referred repeatedly to an interview Trump did with NBC News’ Tim Russert 17 years ago, in which he defines his “New York values” as distinct from “Iowa values.” Cruz said those values — pro-abortion rights, including supporting partial birth abortion and pro-gay marriage — explained Trump’s world view. And he dredged up the former Democrat’s donation history to some of the state’s leading politicians, including Hillary Clinton.

“Given the fact that for much of his life, Donald was financially supporting those politicians — writing checks to Hillary Clinton, writing checks to Andrew Cuomo — it is a fair inference that he supports their policies,” Cruz said.

The Texas senator, then asked for some differences on national security between him and Trump, offered that was unaware of what Trump’s foreign policy is.

“To be honest, I don’t know what Donald’s position is,” Cruz said.

BOOM!!

Oddly, the full statement is a little different as the reporting above cut out a few sentences:

They’re getting fired up!!!

Won’t matter. They have their own Pillars of Styro now. I expect them to faint any moment now.

When all this is over folks, remember their names. They will be the ones pretending they were always Cruz supporters if he ultimately wins out. Just like they pretend they really didn’t want to vote Chef Romney the aborted baby cook, but did anyway.

Teddy Boy did NOT address the correct & accurate points Trump made in his tweets.

Teddy Boy embracing Alinsky tactics - when the facts are not on your side, attack personally.

The trouble is the “undisclosed loans” weren’t undisclosed: they were disclosed in filings during the primary when they were taken out, but not during the general because there was no statutory requirement to re-disclose them. We’ve had posts here at FR showing copies of the disclosure documents.

Here’s why - to avoid 3rd parties from paying off “loans” that would bypass the law.

These loan “payoffs” could be construed as leverage to control the candidate - i.e. Robert Mercer owing $10BILLION in back taxes but is Teddy Boy’s #1 financing sugar daddy.

Yeah right. Not personal. Facts. You and DT are the Alinsky lovinng, democrat loving.
DT is in no way conservative. Facts, lolol. You don’t look at facts or you would not be part of the cult of Trump.
It is Teddy Bear - I feel save going to sleep at night knowing he will protect ALL American’s rights this time next year.

Yes so true. Remember when Trump said Mitt was a choke artist? Well that was a true statement and the thing to remember about Trump is that he is not a choke artist and he will fight til he closes the deal. He’s a natural born winner.

Cults, by definition are small, so the label applies more to the Cruz followers than Trump’s supporters.

Donald Trump is too thin skinned to be president. He just doesn't have the proper temperament.

How does Goldman Sachs own him, exactly? He took a loan out against his own account. Too bad Trump and his followers never want to discuss federalism, constitutional restraint, or Trump’s extremist liberal views. Trump loses badly. Instead, let’s talk about anything else except the things that matter. Is Trump still nationalizing healthcare? How about banks? Has he articulated how touchback amnesty is a good thing yet? Is Scalia still a racist for wanting to do away with affirmative action? I hear Trump’s rabid pro-abortion sister would be excellent on the Supreme Court.

Conservatism is dead when self-proclaimed conservatives follow a thin skinned NYC liberal.

I have to tell you, most people I know can’t stand New Yorkers. I have a cousin who is a flight attendant on a regular NYC to Miami and back route. I can’t even repeat what she says about them. My experience is New Yorkers are generally disliked, but I don’t think most people will think about that when they vote. I mean, don’t most people recoil with the brash and rude kind of person typified by Trump?

“Donald Trump is too thin skinned to be president. He just doesn’t have the proper temperament.”

The varnish is coming off - Trump and his bots are beginning to sound like Obammy. Any dissension is met with mockery and straw arrogant unrelated arguments.

NO one has used the “I” more then Trump.

Cruz is focusing on the issues while Trump responds with personal attacks.

Trump, like the Democrat politicians he supports, likes to engage in the politics of personal destruction.
