No the RNC has under estimated how angry the base is at “the party”

Governor Haley's SOTU response was probably the most pathetic political stunt I've seen in years. SOTU responses are typically critical of the sitting president and the message he just delivered. Haley used the occasion instead to trash the GOP frontrunner.

But Nikki Haley reminded me, in some ways, of Angela Merkel: a lonely political figure growing more isolated from her own party and country.

You have to give GOP establishment credit for one thing: they've managed to create a brand that's hated by both left and right and appeals to no one, except Jed Bush fans.

Since I live in Tennessee, we work hard to get rid of the RINOS that infest the Legislature, Governorship and our 2 US Senators. All RINOS.

Even with RINOS we have cut the sales tax, loosen the strangling gun laws. With a Legislature that is only partly Conservative.

We have 2 pockets of total Dem controlled cities. Memphis and Nashville. Memphis is the most corrupt and highest in crime in the state. Bad schools, financial trouble. Just dumped their black mayor for a white one, same party though. Will be interesting to see who the new Chief of Police is. It’s always been black as has the School Supper. But they gave up their school charter, thinking they’d take over the entire of Shelby Co schools, the small towns in the County, fought back and won the right to run and elect their own schools and boards.

We are an Income Tax free state, sales tax is the revenue source and we finished with a surplus this year.
