Many of us have warned the Cruz people that you cannot just be ok with Cruz running on platitudes and some sort of golden mythology about his life.
When you do that, it doesn’t take much to topple that house of cards over.
He needed to be out in the fight so he could take some hits and get some practice in giving them.
Now it’s one blast after another, and it’s likely not going to quite now that the non-aggression treaty between Trump and Cruz is over. Cruz is now on his own. Trump on one side, the GOPe on another, and the Dems on the third.
Cruz has been looked at as the King of Kings by his father and that sometimes appears to
me to have rubbed off on Edward.
