It is the fools who put their faith in the guy with no conservative record "but he can win" that keep on causing conservatives to lose. Furthermore, when if/when that Republican with no conservative record does actually win, conservatives and conservatism both still lose.
"Winning" is ONLY good when you win something useful. "Winning" is losing when all you win is a rotten lemon.
