Pope Francis: Countries that Take in Refugees Must Change
Frontpage Mag ^ | January 17, 2016 | Daniel Greenfield

Some interesting tidbits from Pope Francis' statement on migrants and refugees. Via Andrew Stuttaford at the National Review.

"Migration movements are now a structural reality, and our primary issue must be to deal with the present emergency phase by providing programmes which address the causes of migration and the changes it entails, including its effect on the makeup of societies and peoples."

"At this moment in human history, marked by great movements of migration, identity is not a secondary issue. Those who migrate are forced to change some of their most distinctive characteristics and, whether they like or not, even those who welcome them are also forced to change."

"The presence of migrants and refugees seriously challenges the various societies which accept them. Those societies are faced with new situations which could create serious hardship unless they are suitably motivated, managed and regulated. How can we ensure that integration will become mutual enrichment, open up positive perspectives to communities, and prevent the danger of discrimination, racism, extreme nationalism or xenophobia?"

"Public opinion also needs to be correctly formed, not least to prevent unwarranted fears and speculations detrimental to migrants."

[[It goes well beyond the Pope...Pelosi, Boehner, and Ryan are all RC and the now retired Boehner has gone on the record saying he used ‘Catholic guilt’ to get Ryan on board. Ryan essentially caved in to Obama’s demands on immigration contained in the massive tax and spending deal shortly after.]]

Boehner had the pope come speak to them .

No, we don’t.

Pack ‘em all into Vatican City for all I care.

Just make sure to get the art out first,

Definitively, the worst of modern times. There’s no way to compare the blabber out his mouth with the outright political corruption of centuries ago. In terms of cultural damage he’s attempting to commit to destroy the west, there’s never been anything in modern times this bad.

I specifically urge everyone to read the article at the link above.

Greenfield does a good job of parsing the Pope's unsettling statements......and he has highlighted them in the article.

In my own analysis I found even more alarming phrases and combinations of words that reeked of totalitarianism, coercion, mandates, forced compliances and propaganda advocacy.

It's an unbelievable piece of work. I hope every freeper reading this, no matter what denomination, will be perceptive enough to see what we read here is a very iron fist concealed in a papal velvet glove.

I’ve a great idea, let Muslim countries take Muslim refugees and the USA will take Christians!

“He’s definitely got me seriously contemplating to go Orthodox.”

These folks have had it right for sixty years now. No valid pope alive today.

I am so sorry to read this. We’ve suffered bad Popes before. If you believe that this is the Church that Christ instituted, then doing as you have done is a serious sin.

Great! We managed to get the worst Pope, the worst USA Prez, and the worst German Prez, right after the worst US senate majority and house majority leaders followed by 2/3 more and an extreme left wing Prez of Canada all about the same time. Geez! When does it end?

All while Europe is being transformed into a muzzie trash can and the US is a rest of the world trash can. If we don’t get a conservative Prez the entire world will continue in free fall until someone says enough and another shot will be heard around the world. A spark to unite humanity to fight back against everything liberal, progressive, and islam. Maybe even to the point to where they are imprisoned and deported along with any citizenship torn away from them. I hear Mexico has lots of land for them to build huts on.

It may already be too late.

And then the only place that will help us, is Russia, but that will come at a heavy price.
